It’s the perfect time for summer tomatoes. Right off the vine. Other than your own kitchen garden, the shortest distribution chain is a local farmers market. Farm To City Markets in these parts. Saturday purchases always include one perfect tomato.
Sliced, on toasted multi-grain sourdough, over a smear of Duke’s. Topped with fresh feta, olive oil, cracked pepper, and oregano. A dripping messy gotta-have-a-bib open-face snack. Or three for a *burp* meal. Note: increase the tomato order.
